Another option is to have a walk on the left bank of Seine river, covering the route from Pont Alexander to Ile St. Louis. Another great idea would be to take a boat on the St. Martin Canal and reach Parc de la Villette from Musee d’Orsay. Taking a boat along Seine river is also a good idea for the warm evenings.

Soak up the romance at Monmartre. This is where countless artist like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali worked on their paintings and where famous poets wrote their beautiful verses. The streets are steep and narrow and paved with cobblestones. The neighbourhood is built on a hill and is home to the enchanting Sacre-Coeur Basilic.

Climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower to watch the sun set over the city, then head to a gourmet restaurant for a romantic candlelit dinner, then later swing with the beat in one of Paris’ famous jazz clubs (try Le Caveau de la Huchette).

During your romantic getaway, be sure to visit the Luxembourg Gardens (between Boulevard St Michel and Boulevard Saint-Germain) and the Tuileries Gardens (near the Louvre museum and the Madeleine). To capsize the heart of your beloved, take with you a blanket and a picnic basket greedy. If the weather is not that great, then the couple can go to the Louvre, where there are plenty of things to be seen, check the Musee d’Orsay or the Musee Carnavalet. Samaritaine department store is great for shopping and it also offers a great view. Another great romantic thing to do while in Paris is lying on the Champs di Mars grass with a fresh baguette and sipping some wine, while watching the sun setting and the Eiffel Tower being light up. If you happen to go to Paris in winter, then you can go ice skating on the ice ring near Hotel de Ville.
