Sharm el-Sheik’s string of golden-sand beaches stretches along the desert coast from Na'ama Bay to Nabq Bay. For the most part, these are separated into hotel- and resort-owned sections that are open to everyone; typically, only hotel guests are allowed to use the properties’ sun parasols and loungers.
If you fancy the idea of getting your adrenaline pumping on a trip to Sharm el Sheikh but don’t necessarily think diving is the way to go about it, parasailing proves a more-than-tempting alternative. Away from the water, meanwhile, quad biking is another popular thing to do that features on many itineraries for Sharm el Sheikh honeymoons. The sands that surround the town make for the perfect setting as you speed around on a small four-wheeled vehicle.

After dark, head to the bars and restaurants of Na’ama Bay. Take in a live show at the Sinai Casino or dance the night away at one of Na’ama Bay’s many lively nightclubs, including the renowned Pacha Club and Hard Rock Café.
Top Attractions In Sharm el-Sheikh
Colored Canyon: A worthwhile day trip to the middle of the desert takes one to these spectacular rock formations. Rivers from thousands of years ago gorged their way through the rock leaving different colorful layers. A full day hike for the fairly fit.
Learn To Dive: Camel Dive Club is one of many diving centers in Sharm, located in Na'ama Bay. They teach beginners in their own training pool. You have a choice of wreck diving, or why not try an underwater safari taking in some of the best coral diving in Egypt.
St Catherine's: Also a day trip from Sharm, the monastery sits on the peak of Mount Sinai, arguably the biblical place where God spoke to Moses. It's a climb for the fit (camels can be hired) worthwhile starting in the wee hours and reaching the summit for the sunrise. Be sensitive to the fact that it still operates as a monastery; don't miss the room with the skulls of former residents.
If all this activity sounds a little on the tiring side, don’t worry: There’s a rich café culture in Sharm el Sheikh, and you can do much worse than to hole up in one of its most-frequented establishments and watch the world go by. After all, Sharm el Sheikh honeymoons are all about kicking back and enjoying yourself, and what better way to do so than with a glass of fresh guava juice in your hand?
